According to an Eyewitness who narrated to Eyes Of Lagos how the incidence happened told us that the female kidnapper was seen with 2 school children around 4pm today , she was challenged and questioned which one is already missing out of two children she kidnapped . The kidnapper later confessed she came all the way from badiya apapa to kidnap here in Alaso Ait road Alagbado Lagos. The Federal Government is set to meet Turkish diplomats today over the spate of illegal importation of riffles from Turkey to Nigeria. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Comptroller-General (CG) Col. Hameed Ali (retd) said this when he briefed reporters over the seizure of another 470 rifles at Tin-Can Island port in Lagos. A meeting between the leadership of Customs and the Turkish Ambassador in Nigeria will hold today as part of efforts to fish out those directly or remotely connected with the importation. President Buhari returns to London for undisclosed reasons

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to London for undisclosed reasons.Buhari, who had spent 104 days in London on medical vacation this year, returned there on Thursday from the United States where he had spent five days attending the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly.The Presidency had said in a statement last week that Buhari would be returning to London for a short visit.It, however, did not disclose how long the President would be in London and the reason for his latest visit.

Naira depreciates marginally against dollar

The Naira on Thursday depreciated marginally against the dollar at the parallel market, exchanging at N365.5 to the dollar. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Nigerian currency lost 50 kobo from N365 posted on Wednesday, while the Pound Sterling and the Euro closed at N487 and N436. At the Bureau De Change (BDC) window, the Naira traded at N362 to the dollar, while the Pound Sterling and the Euro closed at N487 and N436. Trading at the investors’ window saw the Nigerian currency closing at N360.33 to the dollar. Traders said high demand for the Naira led to its slight depreciation at the market.
