Alagbado Resident Lands In Trouble For This Hilarious Reason

DPR Dispenses 57,000 Litres Free To Motorists

A team of officials from Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and security agencies on Thursday dispensed 57,000 litres of petrol free to motorists in Abuja. Mr Umar Ajiya, the managing director, Nigerian Product Marketing Company, NPMC, also known as PPMC, had on Dec. 13, warned petrol profiteers to desist or face losing their products. The team, which was on its fifth day of monitoring, got more information from anonymous Nigerians and made good on its promise to give out petrol free from any filling station that sold above the N145 approved cap. Nigeria’s stock market has been named to be amongst the five top performers in 2017, topping equities markets of most major European, Middle Eastern and Asian countries, a CNN report has revealed. Oil hits $67 per barrel on Libyan pipeline blast

Oil prices have touched two-and-a-half year highs in light volume boosted by an explosion on a crude pipeline in Libya and voluntary OPEC-led supply cuts. Libya has lost around 90,000 bpd of crude oil from a blast on a pipeline feeding Es Sider port, a Libyan oil source said, adding that NOC was still assessing the damage. A Libyan military source said earlier that armed men had planted explosives at the pipeline. The country’s output had been recovering in recent months after being held down for years by conflict and unrest. Brent crude, the international benchmark for oil prices, has risen to 66.76 dollars a barrel. Prices hit a session high of 66.83 a barrel. Son of President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf, was on Tuesday night involved in bike accident in Abuja.
