In attendance were children from Arrows of God and Sought After Orphanages. The theme of this year’s party was Let Your Fruit be Ripe which is centred on sex education for preteens and teenagers. The sex education classes were split into two with Mrs Lucy Igbinosa, a missionary and educator anchoring the children aged 11 and above while the 4-10 yearolds was handled by the School Administrator of Splendid Steps Montessori School, Mrs Oyetola Olubunmi Odewole. Speaking at the event, the President of the foundation, Mrs Oluseyi Ozoya, emphasized the need for children to be exposed to sex education at an early age because it prevents abuse by predators who are often people close to them. She also thanked God for the successful party which was first organised in 2013 when Crown of Joy Foundation was established. She expressed gratitude to Pastor Mrs Augustina Ajaero the Proprietess of Splendid Steps Montessori School for supporting the party with the facilitators who taught the children.
