When the news of the arrest of this young lady reached CP Fatai Owoseni, the commissioner of police in Lagos state, he ordered for her to be released and warned her sternly. The commissioner of police also assisted her by giving her the sum of N10,000.
It is touching to know that hunger pushed this young lady into committing this crime as she was saddled with the responsibility of providing food for her baby. It is indeed a sad situation. Only heaven knows what will become of the young lady and her child after they must have spent the money given to them by the Commissioner of Police.
