The Federal Government  plan to embark on bio-metric data for okada and tricycle riders in the country.

This matter will take effect  with collaborations with  Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria.

The national President of ACOMORAN, Alhaji Shehu Babangida, announced this in Abuja, on Thursday, when the technology of the exercise was introduced

He speaks further that the capturing of motorcycle and tricycle operators will stop the  agitation for the nationwide ban on okada riders.

 Abuja-based indigenous software development company, Clevland Investment Management Limited, as the technical partnerthat will carry out the biometric data that will capture ACOMORAN members.

He say the modalities for the nationwide bio-metric capturing will commence soon , ACOMORAN will collaborate with the federal government to tackle the security challenges for the country.
