Days after residents along Abule – Egba and Ajah axes of Lagos rejoiced following the commissioning of new road projects in the areas, inhabitants of Agege axis of Lagos can also heave a sigh of relief.
This is as a result of the announcement by the Lagos State Government that the construction of the proposed Pen Cinema Agege flyover will commence in few weeks.
This disclosure was made by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works & Infrastructure, Mr. Temidayo Erinle during the ongoing Ministerial Press briefing to mark Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s second year in office.
According to Erinle, the project when completed would ease traffic flow in the axis and other connecting areas.
You would recall that the construction of the Pen Cinema Agege flyover was captured in the Golden Jubilee budget of Akinwunmi Ambode for the year 2017.
