The List Of Already Cleared Candidates By APC To Run In Lagos LG Polls

Ahead of the highly anticipated July 22 council elections in Lagos, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the names of candidates cleared to contest in the polls.
With Mainlanders and other Lagosians worried about the individuals that would represent their interest at the various LGAs/LCDAs and the chaos which erupted during the unified chairmanship primaries of the party, the APC has submitted the following names to the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) as part of the cleared candidates for the polls.
According to the party, 32 candidates have been cleared to contest in the forthcoming elections. They are;

    2. Agbado Okeodo LCDA – Augustine Adeoye Arogundade
    3. Ayobo Ipaja – Sakiru Yusuf
    4. Egbe Idimu – Kunle Sanyaolu
    5. Ikotun Igando – Morenike Adesina Williams
    6. Mosan Okunola – Bisi Doris Adebajo
    7. Epe LG – Hon. Adedoyin Adesanya
    8. Eredo – Hon. Adeniyi Saliu
    9. Ikosi-Ejirin – Hon. Onanuga Samson Adeniyi
    10. Coker Aguda – Hon. Akinyemi Obe
    11. Itire Ikate – Hon. Apatira
    12. Surulere – Hon. Tajudeen Ajide
    13. Ojokoro – Hon. Hameed Tijani
    14. Ejigbo – Hon Monsuru Obe
    ‎15. Ikosi Isheri -Engr. Abdulfatai ‎Oyesanya
    16. Agboyi Ketu – Mayor Dele Osinowo
    ‎17. Kosofe – Hon. Babatunde Sofola
    ‎18. Badagry West– Hon. Gbenu Henugbe
    19. Oriade -Hon Ramotalai O. Akinlola Hassan
    ‎20. Iba – Hon. Oseni Ramota Adeyeri
    21. Ifeodun – Hon. Fatai Shuaib Ajidagbai Ayoola
    ‎23. Bariga – Kolade Alabi David
    ‎24. Odi Olowo – Rasak Ajala
    25. Igbogbo Bayeku – Olusesan Mayokun Daini
    26. Ifako Ijaiye – Toba Oke‎
    ‎26. Oshodi Isolo – Hon Abolaji Muse Ariyoh
    27. Isolo – Olaleye Shamsudeen Abiodun
    28. Bariga – Hon Kolade Alabi
    29. Lagos Mainland – Hon. Essien
    30. Yaba LCDA – Hon. Omiyale‎
    31. Somolu – Hon. Olubowale Sosinmi‎
    ‎32. Mushin – Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye‎
Meanwhile, the additional names to complete the required 57 will be released by the party next week, EYES OF LAGOS gathered.
This move by the party has however led to reactions from Mainlanders who opined that the process that presented these candidates was marred with irregularities.
The decision led to protests by concerned party loyalists at Surulere, Mushin and Agege areas of Lagos respectively.
