LUTH Management Issues Disclaimer On Fake Recruitment Website

The management of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) has distanced itself from a fake online platform indicating that the body is recruiting for a position of house officers.
Eyes Of Lagos gathered that,  In a statement released yesterday, July 4 2017, through the chief Medical director, Prof. Bode stated; “Our attention has been drawn to an online platform purporting to recruit fresh House Officers for the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) through Medimail247 E-Parcel Service with  Intending applicants  been asked to buy forms for N5000 and pay a parcel charge of 1750. The email address used is medimail247@gmail.com .
While advising the general public, the management said that the service is a SCAM intended to defraud unwary doctors and swindle them of their money. The Lagos University Teaching Hospital has nothing to do with the site and implored that fraudsters should not be patronized.
The management however seeks the assistance of the Inspector-General of Police of the Federation in fishing out the culprits involved in this illegality or anyone with information about this group should report any such activity to the security services.
