Former Special Assistant on New Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has mockingly said President Muhammadu Buhari should start protecting himself against Lassa fever.
Omokri made the remark while reacting to report by the Presidency saying Buhari cannot work from his office due to destructions caused by rodents.
Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu has disclosed that the president has to work from home because his office was undergoing renovation due to destruction by rodents.
However, Omokri faulted the claim by Shehu, saying the presidential spokesperson should be truthful.
Omokri, who took to his twitter handle, wrote: “If President Muhammadu Buhari is not strong enough to go to his office, Garba Shehu should say the truth and shame satan rather than blame “rodents”!
“Only in Nigeria can a “rodent” chase a lion away from his den! Or is Garba Shehu referring to human rodents of the#ResumeorResign variety?
“Since AsoRock is a den of “rodents”, its my patriotic duty to warn the Presidency to proactively begin protecting Muhammadu Buhari from Lassa Fever.”
