In furtherance of its commitment to make road rehabilitation, maintenance and re-construction a topmost priority, with a view to improving the security, social and economy of the community, the Engr. Valentine Buraimoh led administration in Amuwo Odofin LGA of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, has continued with the re-construction works of some failed portions of 1st Avenue road, Festac Town, Lagos.
The Local Government boss during one of his several inspections notes that ” we are here to serve the people and we will go all out to make the people enjoy the dividends of democracy. You can see we work round the clock, even at night. This we will continue to do.”
The Council Chief acknowledged the cooperation and understanding of members of the public.
He also shared their pains and discomfort occassioned by the on-going project, but however believes that at the long run it would benefit all.
It would be recalled that not too long ago, the administration rehabilitated a failed section of 1st Avenue road, Festac Town, Lagos.
1st avenue is the 2nd longest road in Festac Town spanning a total of 6 km
