Residents and visitors of Ikorodu community, Lagos Mainland, should brace up for a fun-filled time in December 2018 as the organizers of the annual ASA Carnival in Lagos State, have announced the date for this year’s edition of the event.
The event billed to hold at the Ikorodu Town Hall, is tagged “Asa-Ere Osupa 2018” and will come up on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
Eyes Of Lagos gathered that, According to the handlers of the event, this year’s edition of annual Asa Festival will project the dynamic culture and hospitality of the people of Lagos State in general and Ikorodu division in particular. With the events that would be showcased during the celebration, the festival would linger in the memory of residents and visitors, for a long time to come.
ASA Carnival which is one of the approved annual cultural events of Lagos State government is a traditional cum social festival staged every year to highlight the rich cultural heritage in many towns in Ikorodu Division.
The event is part of the commitment of the State Government to use entertainment as a springboard to drive development and market the state’s potentials to domestic and foreign investors who will contribute meaningfully towards making Lagos a smart city.
Besides entertainment, fun and networking, the carnival will offer upcoming artists and tradesmen opportunities to exhibit their skills and market their products to attendees of the occasion.
