Thursday 24th March 2022 will never be forgotten as Nigerian top showbiz shots recently took time off to identify with Nigeria’s reggae powerhouse, Righteousman Erhabor, whose first and only son, Stefan Erhabor, who turned 30years on the same fateful day when he wedded his heartthrob, pretty Grace Umoh, now Grace Erhabor who undoubtedly had a double-barrel celebration of a lifetime at the same moment. Interestingly, the wedding came first with a surprising appearance of Mr. Fantastic, Sunny Neji who welcomed guests with his wedding hit item, “Oruka” to the posh Kulture yard, owned by multiple award reggae gospel icon, Buchi. With that song, he set every guest in the mood for the goodies to come.
The mounting on the stage of Buchi, complimented Neji’s out in no small way, as he served guests with his kind of reggae gospel music.
That gathering was simply a who is who matters on the showbiz podium. From Nollywood, came well-built actor, Keppy Ekpeyoung, veteran actors, Nobert Young, Fred Amata, Tony Akposiri aka Zacky, and CEO Ejiro who came to identify with Righteousman during such a historic moment. Heymakers from the music circle were not left out as COSON President, Chief Tony Okoroji and some board members stormed the occasion. Also at the gathering were MCSN Chairman, Orits Wiliki, former PMAN President, Tee Mac, afro-beat legend, Dede Mabiaku, Elder Emma Ogosi, top female gospel act, Kenny St Brown aka KSB, Ice K of the Artquake game, MTN project fame voice, Coach Ige Sings and her Entrepreneur husband, Duka Kachi, No.1 Africa gospel disc-jockey DJ Gosporella, First World Entertainment USA President, Krix Ojo, Ambassador Felix Duke, CEO of Cytech Prosound, Cyril Atie, Bishop Amos Mcroy, formerly of the Jahstix band which produced late Majek Fashek, and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Gagar (Righteousman’s elder brother), Chairman of the occasion who without a doubt did justice to chairing the occasion. Joining of the couple was done by Pastor David Edet of Transmission Christian Church, while Bishop Solomon Erhabor of House of Grace Power Ministries gave us God’s undiluted word.
The floodgate to attendant exhilarating surprise performances was opened when the master of ceremony and king of the mic, KOFFI THA GURU introduced gospel music top-notch, Mike Abdul who mounted the rostrum to bless everybody there with some refreshingly different sweet owambe rhythm which he did in conjunction with the Kmelody band.
The fun suddenly metamorphosed into a titillating crescendo when celebrated acts like reggae godfather, Pupa Orits Wiliki, Reggae gospel icon, Buchi, Amb. Felix Duke, Big Bob, Happy Brown Jnr, Mister Push, and John Agoha stepped out to do an impromptu and perfect collaboration as masters they are individually, thereby making the unsuspecting audience feel good all over inevitably.
A special rendition did after by Wati, one of the industry’s adjudged best gospel voices instantly sold herself out with this outing. During these thrills and frills, fans of gospel music’s golden voice, Carol Cee, couldn’t spot her on the high table beside her husband because she was out and about, serving guests who came to honor the family on this memorable time out.
However, that once for all happenings did not anchor as Righteousman, the initiator and proud father of the groom climbed the podium to do a few numbers in honor of the latest couples in town. He thanked God for ensuring a trouble-free and memorable social double do.
