Entertainment is usually an export commodity. Music, Movies and Games are the three biggies in Entertainment. With Games being #1, about the same as Music and Movies combined. in the entertainment industry, you can see that it contributes to the economic health. The ideas that entertainment does not contribute to growth is incorrect – because it is not a service industry.
People create games, they are put on disks or servers, they are purchased and traded, and resold — they are like any other commodity. The idea that they are not “real wealth” is incorrect.
That would be like saying that Food doesn’t contribute, because once you eat it, it’s gone. Or gas doesn’t contribute – You just burn it up. All wrong. Entertainment industry generates much money, due to sponsorship and the nature of its system, so it would be prosperous for every country economy.
In few years, entertainment industry would become the largest sector worldwide, each country would profited at least USD 1 million in poorest countries and up to USD 1 trillion in richest countries and populous countries. Due to large profit, its possible for entertainment industry to become one of the largest sector in the world and the leading cultural product.
