Meet Emmanuel Wogwunka popularly known as ikwerre boy, a rivers state based social media influencer, who has utilised his social media presence into touching lives and helping rising entertainment acts grow.
Ikwerre Boy, around December 2020 made an announcement on his social media pages of his intentions to carry out the project “Pad A Girl” as part of his birthday celebration.
According to him the project is aimed at providing pads for the girl child and educating them about keeping good hygiene during their menstural cycle.
The Pad a girl campaign, which was initiated by Emmanuel has gained traction and support from friends, Brands and companies through ikwerre Boy’s social media pages and has gotten bigger beyond just providing pads into providing schooling materials for the children.
The second edition, of pad a girl which is scheduled to hold in port Harcourt in September, would cover pads for female students in secondary schools, socks and the schools fees of 2 students in any of the visited schools.
No doubt ikwerreboy is indeed one of the change makers in the society as he has since inception consistently used his platform to reach out and impact people in his city Port Harcourt.
