Following a brief break to focus on academics, DJ A-Tech makes a strong return to music production with POV (Percussion on Vibez) EP, reaffirming his position as a creative force in the industry. The EP blends Afrobeat and Amapiano elements with a refined percussive approach, proving his mastery of rhythm, melody, and sound innovation.
In this project, DJ A-Tech reimagines Davido’s “Unavailable”, adding extra drum layers that give the song a deeper groove. He revamps Pheelz’s “Finesse”, enhancing its rhythmic flow while maintaining its catchy essence. Burna Boy’s “It’s Plenty” gets a refreshing twist, making it even more dancefloor-friendly. He also refixes Ruger’s “Asiwaju”, injecting it with more dynamic beats and an Amapiano bounce.
The EP extends beyond Afrobeat with Amapiano refixes of Busco, Man Giv SA & Mr Prince DJ’s “Corruption”, Vinny06’s “The Drum”, Felo Lee Tee’s “Midnight Prayer”, and DJ Cleo’s “Tong Po”, all of which get a refined, high-energy treatment that takes their original versions to new heights.
