Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has drawn criticism for calling a catchphrase commonly used by Christians “nonsense.”
On his Facebook page, the actor, who got married again last year, asserted that people are too obstinate to admit their own stupidity. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
He said that people continue to utter the ludicrous claim that “What God cannot do does not exist,” despite evidence to the contrary.
According to Patrick Doyle: “Some people are just too obstinate to admit their folly. Even after that slogan ‘What God cannot do doesn’t exist’ has been proven to be silly, they still continue to chant it”.
This comment did not sit well with some social media users who took to the comment section to drag him.
