Chukwuma Innocent Ideh, a filmmaker, has made donations to the families of the makeup artist and soundman who perished in the Anam River boat disaster.
He paid N500,000 into the soundman’s account and N700,000 to the family of the deceased cosmetics artist.
Following the announcement on Thursday of the death of actor Junior Pope, the two young creatives were found deceased upon their retrieval from the River two days subsequent to the tragedy. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
They had been coming from a movie shoot in Asaba when their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra state.
Social media users responded differently to screenshots of the money the director had transferred; some fans praised him for helping the family.
