According to reports, a marketing expert from Nigeria making N360K a month lost her job in Lagos when she didn’t reach her N300M monthly target.
A social media user using by the handle @Aguofapapa bemoaned his friend’s predicament on the microblogging site X.
As to the user’s account, his acquaintance lost her job due to her firm setting an unattainable monthly goal, even with the current economic state of the nation.
It was reported that the woman was sent packing due to her inadequate returns, which did not reach the N300M threshold. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
“A friend of mine just lost her marketing job. Her target was N300M inflow monthly while paid 360k. We are really unserious and unreasonable in this country and take advantage of each other. Because of 360k you are telling me to go look for N300M monthly in this economy where I wan see am? Infact while will I be working for you if I can raise N300M monthly 😂,” he wrote.
