Renowned music producer Don Jazzy narrates his attempt to sell Mo’hits records, a record label he co-founded with Afrobeats legend D’banj, for one million naira.

When asked whether he ever attempted to sell Mo’hit records to prominent Nigerian music executive Obi Asika for one million naira back in the record’s early days, Don Jazzy admitted that he did make an unsuccessful attempt to sell the label. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
The music producer didn’t provide an explanation for why the transaction fell through, but it would turn out to be a lucky break for Mo’hit Records, which would go on to become extremely successful and attract a star-studded roster that included D’banj, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D’Prince, and K Switch. Don Jazzy would also go on to become a well-known music producer and the head of a very successful label.
