Victor Boniface, a Super Eagles player, has shown kindness by giving Nigerian comedian and content producer Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, better known by his stage as Isbae U, N1 million.
After an especially contentious episode of Isbae U’s popular podcast, Curiosity Made Me Ask, the gesture was made.
Throughout the performance, Boniface attacked Isbae U’s career and that of the late actor Sir Kay with unreserved criticism. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Isbae U appeared surprised when the argument came to a negative conclusion. Many spectators responded strongly to the heated confrontation, sparking a lot of talk about the football player’s remarks on the internet.
As a way for reconciliation, Victor sent a sum of N1 million to Isbae U which he took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank him also hinting on a possible revenge next year.
