Following his untimely death, friends and family of gospel musician Dele Agbeyo—also known as Dele Gold—are in grief.
According to reports gathered by Eyes Of Lagos, Dele Gold died on Wednesday, September 11, following a brief illness. Friends and coworkers have been lamenting his demise on social media.
Dele Gold was well-known for his 2019 collaboration with Juju music legend Ebenezer Obey.
A friend on social media while mourning the late singer wrote: “Lord this is rude. Shock to me ooo hmmmm.”
One of his colleagues on Instagram, Alayo Melody Singer, wrote: “Dele Gold died kee?? Ahhh This is getting too much ooo!!!! May God help us stop this untimely death. Dele Agbeyo May your soul rest well🙏🥲🥲”
Fans flooded the comment section, paying their final tribute to the late singer.
