Zhigymania drew inspiration for “Sunita” from his own experiences with love life and the pain of moving on. He says, “I wanted to capture the feeling of being alone in the darkness, searching for a glimpse of hope or connection.
And “Sunita” was written and recorded in the studio in Lagos Nigeria , where Zhigymania sought solitude and creative clarity.
The song’s haunting beats riff was improvised during a late-night studio session with lord Whilston and became the foundation for the entire track.
