A Nigerian man calls out for assistance as court authorities storm his home and seize his belongings, saying his wife used them as collateral for a loan.
His wife tried to evict him, he claimed in a widely shared video, because she had taken out a loan without telling him and had used his home as collateral. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
The anonymous guy uploaded the video, explaining that he and his spouse had been having problems. He then saw court representatives arrive with paperwork to evict him from the house.
“I live in my own house; tell everyone about it. I don’t share any information with anyone. They claimed to be discarding my belongings because my wife took out a loan without permission. I haven’t sought advice on anything. He bemoaned, “She began by gently removing items from the house.
The man said that until the court officials showed up to evict him, he was totally unaware of the financial difficulties that were developing because his wife had concealed the loan.
The emotional video has gone viral, garnering widespread attention across social media platforms. Many Nigerians have expressed their sympathy for the man, condemning the actions of his wife and questioning how she was able to use the property as collateral without his consent.
