According to reports, Victor Osimhen has a €90 million release clause that could allow him to permanently depart Napoli in the January transfer window.
This clause was included to the Galatasaray star’s contract deal with Napoli, which runs until June 2027, Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Serie A teams are exempt from the condition, though.
Osimhen, who scored 76 goals in 133 appearances for Napoli to finish as the 2022–23 Serie A top scorer, piqued the curiosity of teams like Chelsea, PSG, and Al-Ahli throughout the summer.
However, none of those plans came to pass. Eventually, he signed a loan with Galatasaray, where he has already made an impression, scoring twice in a 3-3 tie with Kasimpasa.
In the meantime, Galatasaray vice president İbrahim Hatipoğlu has played down the likelihood of Osimhen leaving in January, despite rumors of a possible trade.
