Dangote Refinery has signed an agreement to supply 240 million litres of petrol to the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) every month.
Under the deal, IPMAN will directly lift 60 million litres of petrol weekly from the refinery without intermediaries, starting this November, according to the association’s National Publicity Secretary, Chinedu Ukadike. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Ukadike explained that IPMAN members will distribute the petrol nationwide, with the volume depending on demand. He noted that discussions and final documentation are almost complete, and lifting could begin immediately after this process. Dangote Group has assured IPMAN of readiness to commence supply as soon as they are ready.
