Popular singer Davido has described his wedding as the happiest day of his life, crediting his wife, Chioma, as the reason he chose to get married. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
In a recent interview on The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido reflected on his special day, stating that he was unbothered about who attended or missed the event because it was all about his love for Chioma.
He revealed that the couple’s journey began over 12 years ago when he was already a budding artist, though not yet a major star. Davido emphasized that Chioma has always been a significant part of his life, and without her, marriage wouldn’t have been an option.
He shared:
“My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years, so it was only right I married her. I was already famous when we met, but I wasn’t big then. If it wasn’t her [Chioma], I’m not getting married. There’s no point.”
