KWAM 1 Rewards Longest-Serving Band Member with ₦20M at New Year Concert

Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, honored his longest-serving band member, Fatai Oluperi Ayinla, with an impressive ₦20 million gift. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The gesture took place on Wednesday, January 1, during the “New Year Dance” event at the Balmoral Convention Center, Sheraton Ikeja, Lagos. KWAM 1 lauded Oluperi Ayinla for his unwavering dedication and significant contributions to the band’s growth over the years.

While presenting the generous sum, KWAM 1 expressed heartfelt gratitude for Oluperi Ayinla’s loyalty and hard work. The announcement was met with cheers and applause from the audience.

In addition to KWAM 1’s gesture, Seven Doors producer Femi Adebayo also contributed ₦500,000 to Oluperi Ayinla, further recognizing his dedication.
