Apostle Johnson Suleman has warned his members against marrying people from other churches, citing reasons for his stance. In a recent sermon, he told his congregation that he would no longer officiate or attend weddings of church members who marry outside the ministry. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
He explained that many of the marital issues he’s had to address recently were from people who married individuals from other churches. He stated, “If you marry someone outside the ministry, I will not attend the wedding. There are many daughters in this church, so why look elsewhere? The wedding will still happen, but I won’t be there. 70% of the crises I’ve dealt with in the last two months are from those who married outside the church.”
