A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, has ordered the remand of two brothers, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche, along with Pastor Abraham Daniel, at the Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State over defamation allegations.
Alexander and Enenche Enenche, who are brothers of Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Church, were taken to the Keffi Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) on Monday evening, following a remand order secured by the Nigerian Police Force from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja. The three individuals—Mr. Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche, and Abraham Daniel (a former pastor at Dunamis Church)—had initially been detained by the police after responding to an invitation. They were held in custody until Monday evening.
On January 7, 2025, Alex Enenche and Daniel were arrested and held over accusations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche. However, they were released the following day after an agreement was reached to settle the matter amicably.
