Renowned Isoko highlife musician Dr. Arube Otor, famously known as Isoko Fela, has captured public attention with his bold ambition of fathering 32 children. At 53, the musician took a giant step toward this goal by marrying three women in a grand ceremony on Sunday, January 18, 2025, in Uzere, Delta State. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
The lavish celebration, held at the Anglican Church Field London Base in Uzere Kingdom, welcomed his three new wives into his growing family, bringing his total number of wives to four. Already a father of nine, Isoko Fela declared, “I want to have 32 children, and until I realize that dream, I won’t leave this earth.”
Coming from a polygamous background, Otor credits his upbringing for his ease with managing a large family. “Polygamy was never a problem in our home. We bonded well and still maintain a healthy relationship,” he shared.
To economize, the highlife star combined the weddings into one grand reception, which featured live music from the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria and plenty of refreshments. “I’ve already paid their bride prices, and we’ve been living together. This is just a formal celebration,” Otor explained.
But the story doesn’t end there. Isoko Fela plans to add two more wives to his household soon, confident in his ability to maintain harmony within the family. “If there’s a dispute, I mediate openly so everyone learns from it. My wives are independent and hardworking—one’s a hairdresser, another a caterer, and one a trader.”
Despite his age, Otor remains confident in fulfilling his marital duties, which he attributes to his natural diet. “I don’t eat rice because it weakens a man. My diet keeps me fit and ready. I visit my wives weekly, and none of them feels neglected,” he said, adding that he avoids aphrodisiacs altogether.
With his charismatic personality and audacious life goals, Isoko Fela has become a symbol of polygamous pride, and many are eagerly watching his journey to fathering 32 children unfold.
