Tiwa Savage is not just a musical powerhouse; she’s a woman on a mission! The Nigerian superstar recently opened up in an interview with Forbes about her ambitious plans to solidify her legacy as a self-made woman, right alongside the biggest names in the world. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
For Tiwa, this dream has been years in the making. “When I was in school, there were basic subjects like math, English, and there were also electives like sports, drama, music – I chose drama. Even from an early age, I knew I had a gift for acting,” she shared during her chat with Forbes Africa.
But music wasn’t her only passion. Growing up in Nigeria, moving to the United Kingdom, and later studying jazz in America, Tiwa soaked up diverse musical influences that shaped her into the artist she is today. “I can do a jazz record, a garage song, or an Afrobeats track, and it all feels authentic. I have lived these experiences,” she said with pride.
Now, the 45-year-old superstar is ready for her next big move. “I want to go into my mogul era,” she declared with confidence. And trust Tiwa to dream big! Beyond music, she has plans to give back in a meaningful way—by establishing a school or scholarship program dedicated to nurturing upcoming artists.
Her goal? To build an empire that cements her status as not just an entertainer but a trailblazing entrepreneur. And with her talent, vision, and drive, there’s no doubt she’s well on her way.
