The popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has responded to reports that, as a result of the success of her most recent film, A Tribe Called Judah, she is a billionaire.
The actress made it clear that she did not personally make billions from the movie, even though it brought in over a billion naira.
In response to the rumors, Funke Akindele stressed that although her most recent work has brought her a great deal of financial success, she is still committed to her profession and hard work. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

She expressed gratitude for the support received but asserted that she is not a billionaire, describing herself as a “confirmed hustler.”
In her words;
“Thanks dear. I’m not a billionaire! My movie A Tribe Called Judah grossed over a billion naira. But I didn’t take the billion home o!!! I be confirmed hustler.”
Currently, Funke Akindele’s movies, including A Tribe Called Judah, Battle on Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto: The Saga, stand as some of the highest-grossing films in the history of Nollywood.
