May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has addressed criticism and accusations of promoting divorce after Yul’s marriage to actress Judy Austin. In a recent interview on the Glasshouse Podcast with comedian AY Makun, May, who suffered the tragic loss of her first son, expressed gratitude for the support she receives from her online community, calling them her “family.”
Responding to accusations of promoting divorce, May clarified, “Some men see me as someone misleading their wives.” She went on to explain her values, saying, “I love family and marriage. But there’s a misconception; marriage should be the foundation of family, as it used to be.”
May firmly stated her position, adding, “Let me categorically state it now—I am not an advocate for divorce.”
