The FCT Police Command has denied any involvement in the investigation of the alleged ₦180 million fraud linked to social media personality Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). Eyes Of Lagos reports,
When contacted, spokesperson Josephine Adeh stated that the police have no information about the case and have not initiated any investigation. She clarified, “There is no record of such a case with the FCT Police Command.”
VeryDarkMan had claimed in a video that ₦180 million was stolen from his NGO’s account, leaving only ₦20 million. He also mentioned tracking the suspect and planning to recover the money. However, some people have expressed skepticism about his account.
