Veteran Nigerian artist, Baba Fryo, has shared his perspective on the widely discussed separation between legendary musician Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and actress Annie Idibia. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Baba Fryo suggested that the entertainment industry’s intense lifestyle contributed to the strain and eventual breakdown of their marriage.
According to him, when both partners are involved in showbiz and fail to create balance in their personal lives, relationships often suffer. He emphasized that celebrity couples need to set boundaries to avoid conflicts.
“Both 2Face and Annie are entertainers. In marriages, one person needs to maintain balance. If the man is drinking and the woman is also drinking, who’s going to take care of who?” he explained.
Baba Fryo added that without emotional stability and proper self-management, insecurity can set in, causing partners to drift apart or seek comfort outside the relationship.
In a surprising twist, he also revealed a personal connection to 2Baba’s current partner, Natasha, saying he had known her since childhood.
“I carried Natasha when she was three years old,” Fryo stated, clarifying that he does not support infidelity but understands why men sometimes seek peace in different partners.
