💔 Mohbad’s Father Cries Foul: “My Son Was Embalmed Without My Consent”

The father of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has raised serious concerns over the mysterious circumstances surrounding his son’s death, alleging a cover-up and unauthorized embalming of the body. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In an emotional interview with activist VeryDarkMan (Vincent Otse Martins), Mr. Joseph Oladimeji Aloba recounted the troubling events of September 12, the day Mohbad died, and questioned the role of those closest to the singer during his final hours.

🚨 “I Knew Something Was Wrong”

According to Mr. Aloba, he received a call from Mohbad’s mother at about 4:30 p.m., informing him that the singer had been hospitalized. He rushed to meet her so they could visit the hospital together. Upon arriving at Osapa London, Mohbad’s uncle, Darosha, allegedly told him that the singer was improving and there was no need to worry.

However, Mr. Aloba said he felt deeply unsettled.

“I was already sensing my son was dead… they said he wasn’t well, then suddenly they said he was fine,” he explained.

🩸 Blood-Stained Duvet, Blocked Access

Later that evening, Aloba followed them to Mohbad’s house, only to be initially denied access. When he eventually got inside, he went upstairs to the room he and Mohbad used to share. What he saw left him shaken:

“I noticed that the duvet was soaked in blood,” he revealed.

⚖️ Allegations of Police Negligence and Hidden Reports

Mr. Aloba also recounted how, upon reporting the death to the police, he was told he could not receive a police report because he had “reported late.” Additionally, he accused Wunmi, Mohbad’s wife, of withholding the doctor’s report and not disclosing critical information about what transpired.

🧪 “They Embalmed My Son Without My Consent”

One of the most shocking revelations was that Mohbad’s body was embalmed at home, allegedly without his father’s consent. Mr. Aloba claimed the morgue refused to accept the body that night, which led to the unauthorized embalming.

This latest interview adds another layer to the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death. The Nigerian public continues to demand transparency, accountability, and justice for the late artist.
