“UK Police Storm Peller’s Apartment During Live Stream After Noise Complaint”
A viral video has captured the moment UK police visited the residence of TikTok personality Peller following a noise complaint during one of his live streaming sessions. The clip, which has circulated widely on social media, shows officers knocking on his door after neighbours reported loud behaviour coming from the apartment. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
The content creator, who is currently in the UK for a show, appeared surprised as a male and female officer entered the room to inspect the space. The officers said they needed to confirm he was alone and not involved in a heated argument, given the volume of the noise reported. When asked about the ownership of the apartment, Peller explained it belonged to his manager, who was not present at the time.
He also told the officers that he was due to return to Nigeria on the 24th, noting that he was only in the country temporarily.
The incident has triggered mixed reactions online, with some critics accusing him of being unnecessarily loud and lacking awareness of local regulations. Others argued that his behaviour could have escalated into a more serious situation.
One user wrote that Peller’s lack of composure was consistent with previous criticisms of his communication style, while another highlighted the importance of understanding one’s rights in the UK. The commenter warned that allowing police entry without a warrant could expose someone to potential legal complications and noted that UK law does not permit officers to search a private space without consent or proper documentation.
The encounter has since sparked a wider conversation about how Nigerian entertainers abroad conduct themselves and the need for better awareness of laws in foreign countries.
