Iyabo Ojo Hints at New Banana Island Mansion, Converts Former Home to Service Apartment
Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has given fans an update on her housing plans, revealing that her former residence is being converted into a service apartment and movie production space. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, December 23, the actress offered a tour of the house, reflecting on the memories made there while showcasing ongoing renovation work. Iyabo took viewers through various rooms in the property, including her bedroom, the rooms of her children Festus and Priscilla, as well as a room that once belonged to her late mother.
While sharing the walkthrough, the mother of two disclosed plans to remodel parts of the sitting room and announced that the property will now be available for both personal use and Nollywood movie productions.
Captioning the video, Iyabo Ojo wrote:
“So many beautiful memories… the only constant thing is change. Service apartment loading… For personal and movie productions.”
The post has further fueled speculations that the actress has acquired a new mansion in Banana Island, one of Lagos State’s most exclusive residential areas. Rumours about the new property first surfaced after popular Instagram blogger CutieJuls congratulated the actress on the alleged purchase.
“Congratulations to her royal highness, Queen Iyabo Ojo on her new home in Banana Island,” the blogger wrote.
Iyabo’s video was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues, many of whom praised her growth, resilience, and calm approach to life and social media in recent times.
As of the time of filing this report, the actress has not directly confirmed ownership of a new Banana Island mansion but continues to share updates that suggest a new chapter in her personal and professional journey.
