According to Nkechi Blessing, her direct messages have become chaotic, with new proposals appearing daily, despite repeated efforts to curb the attention.
She explained that blocking accounts and adjusting privacy settings have done little to stop the influx of messages, as men continue to reach out through Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
“I have tried everything I can to change my number on Facebook but I don’t know how. I don’t even know which video is trending. I wake up to thousands of messages from different kinds of men,” she said.
Nkechi Blessing further clarified that while she is currently single, she is not actively searching for a relationship, stressing that the constant proposals are emotionally draining.
She disclosed that her WhatsApp inbox alone contains over 5,000 unread messages from men expressing interest in marriage.
“I don block tire. I am single, but I no dey find man. I’m not searching. My WhatsApp is a mess. I have over 5,000 messages from different kinds of species called men. I am tired. How many be my body wey over 5,000 men wan marry me?” she added.
Her outburst has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many users sympathising with the actress and condemning excessive online harassment.
Others, however, joked about the situation, turning her comments into trending memes and discussions across social media platforms.
The incident has reignited conversations about online boundaries, celebrity privacy, and the pressure public figures—especially women—face on social media.
As reactions continue to pour in, Nkechi Blessing’s remarks remain one of the most talked-about celebrity moments online.
