Angela Okorie Questions Rosy Meurer’s Role in Tonto Dikeh–Churchill Saga

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has reignited public debate surrounding fellow actress Rosy Meurer, following renewed social media conversations involving actress Tonto Dikeh and her former husband, Olakunle Churchill.

Okorie, in a lengthy post shared on her social media page, revisited past events from the period when Tonto Dikeh was married to Churchill, making fresh allegations about how Rosy Meurer was introduced into their circle at the time. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

According to Angela Okorie, Rosy Meurer was initially presented to them as Churchill’s personal assistant, a claim she said raised concerns among those close to Tonto Dikeh even then.

She further alleged that Tonto Dikeh had confided in them during the marriage, accusing her husband of having an affair with Rosy Meurer and expressing emotional distress over the situation.

Okorie claimed that tensions escalated rapidly and that before efforts could be made to resolve the alleged issue, Rosy Meurer went on to marry Churchill.

Angela Okorie also referenced Tonto Dikeh’s public statement years later, where the actress announced that she had forgiven Churchill for the emotional pain she experienced during their marriage — a development that was widely celebrated by fans at the time.

However, Okorie questioned the narrative surrounding forgiveness and reconciliation, ending her post with a rhetorical remark that has since sparked fresh reactions online.

“Everybody was happy when T said she had forgiven him,” Okorie wrote. “But PA wey marry oga madam husband, wetin dem dey call am?” she added in Pidgin English.

Angela Okorie’s comments have generated mixed reactions across social media platforms, with some users supporting her position, while others accused her of reopening old wounds and escalating unnecessary controversy.
