Timini Egbuson Speaks on Relationship Failures, Says Money Isn’t Everything

Popular Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson, has spoken candidly about his past relationship failures, revealing how his views on love and priorities have evolved over the years.

The 38-year-old actor made the disclosure during a recent interview with Jay On-Air TV, where he reflected on his earlier belief that financial stability was the most important factor in romantic relationships. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

According to Timini, he once placed money at the centre of his approach to love, but experience and personal growth have since reshaped his mindset. While he still considers financial security important, the actor stressed that wealth alone cannot sustain a meaningful relationship.

“I still think money is important,” Timini said. “But what I realise now is that money is just one out of many things that matter. If all you can bring to a relationship is money, then you’re a very shallow man.”

He further emphasised the importance of personality, emotional intelligence, values, and personal depth, noting that long-term relationships require more than material provision.

Timini’s remarks have sparked conversations online, with many social media users applauding his honesty and maturity, while others shared their own perspectives on money, love, and modern relationships.

The actor, who is known for his roles in several Nollywood films and television series, has often been open about personal growth and life lessons, both on and off screen.
