A Nigerian lady has sparked widespread reactions after claiming that men who can cook are a major red flag in relationships. In a viral TikTok video shared by a creator identified as iyetiktok1, she warned women to be cautious of men who are skilled in the kitchen, insisting that such men rarely commit to marriage. She argued that a man who cooks exceptionally well—whether it is ogbono soup, egusi, rice and stew, or jollof rice—often has no intention of settling down. According to her, such men are too independent and do not rely on their partners for anything, including meals.
