The alleged ex-wife, who identified herself as Agnes Bismaark Okafor, spoke in a livestream addressing the apology Pastor Chris tendered to Doris Ogala while on the altar and reportedly on his knees. Doris Ogala had previously stated that the pastor gave her $10,000 and urged her to reconsider her earlier claims about him.
In her statement, Agnes Bismaark Okafor questioned the sincerity of Pastor Chris’ apology. She said,
“You cannot be having children everywhere and then you think you can do damage control with my name. There’s no genuine apology from my reflection.”
According to Agnes, she was married to Pastor Chris Okafor at the age of 18, and their union produced three daughters and a son. She further emphasized that their marriage was legitimate, saying,
“This man took me in my prime as a wife. Not as a sidechick. We wedded traditionally and we had a wedding.”
