Nigerian music star Bella Shmurda has sparked reactions online after claiming he is biologically related to fellow artiste Adekunle Gold.
The “Cash App” crooner, whose real name is Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, made the revelation via his account on X (formerly Twitter), stating that he recently discovered the family connection.
“Just found out Adekunle GOLD is my uncle, Iga Kosoko mo foh oo small world,” he wrote. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
The statement quickly generated buzz among fans and social media users, with many expressing surprise at the alleged relationship between the two popular musicians.
While Bella Shmurda did not provide further details about how they are related, the mention of “Kosoko” in his post has fueled speculation about possible family ties linked to the Kosoko lineage, a prominent name in Lagos history.
