2020: Islam Is The Solution To Nigeria’s Problems

Muslims, under the aegis of Al Jamiatul Ashrafia College, Sokoto Students’ Association (AJACSSA), say prayers and exhibitions of moral rectitude are the panaceas to problems in the country.

The AJACSSA President, Alhassan Alolo Yussuf Bawa gave the advice on Sunday during a Ramadan lecture held on the college premises in Sokoto, Sokoto State.

Bawa said the theme of the lecture, ‘The Role of Islam in the Development of Our Society,’ was also aimed at encouraging peaceful coexistence among religions.

He said, “Nigeria needs a lot of prayers and help. If we continue to pray for the country, it will be great again. We are also praying for President Muhammadu Buhari to get better.”

He Urged Muslims to exhibit peace, love, and tolerance towards one another and other religious groups. He said, “Islam came to purify our souls and society. We should spread peace and love in society. If your souls are purified, there will be development in your life, family, and society.”

The association called on Nigerians, especially Islamic faithful, to use the Ramadan period to pray for the development of the country.
