Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has openly expressed frustration with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that he is “tired” of the current administration due to the worsening economic hardship in Nigeria. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Speaking in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Amaechi lamented the soaring cost of living, revealing that even wealthy Nigerians are struggling financially.
Now a leading figure in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, Amaechi was welcomed by a crowd of supporters as he returned to Rivers State.
“If You Are Not Tired of Tinubu, I Am Tired”
Amaechi criticized Tinubu’s leadership, blaming him for the country’s economic woes.
“If you are not tired of President Tinubu, I am tired. If you are not hungry, I am hungry.
If rich men are spending ₦4 million a month on fuel, only God knows how the poor are surviving. The President says he is not here to make you happy. The ADC is here to make you happy,” he declared.
The former governor of Rivers State questioned how ordinary Nigerians were managing to survive under the current economic climate, adding that the situation had become unbearable for both the rich and poor.
