Landlord Accused in AAUA Students’ Kidnap Case Dies in Custody
The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the death of Oladele Femi, the prime suspect in the abduction and murder of two Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) students. Femi, popularly known as “Tallex”, reportedly died in the hospital after developing a sudden illness while in police custody. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Suspect’s Death Confirmed
Police spokesperson DSP Olushola Ayanlade stated:
“Yes, he is dead. He had been under medical supervision since his arrest and had been in and out of the hospital. He passed away yesterday.”
Femi was the landlord of one of the victims, John Abba, and had allegedly confessed to orchestrating the kidnapping and killing of Abba and his female friend, Eloho Okah, who went missing on June 20, 2025.
Gruesome Details of the Crime

Eloho Okah’s decomposing body has been recovered.

John Abba’s remains are still missing, with search efforts ongoing.

Two additional suspects, Kola and Michael, were arrested for withdrawing N800,000 from Abba’s account while the victims were held captive.

A Lexus RX 350 SUV, belonging to the late Abba, was recovered from one of the suspects.
