Napoli Playing Hardball Again – Rejects Galatasaray’s 4th Offer for Osimhen!”

Nigerian football star, Victor Osimhen, is still stuck in Naples as Napoli has once again rejected a transfer offer from Galatasaray – the fourth one in a row. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Despite Galatasaray meeting all the terms initially set by the Italian club, Napoli has reportedly shifted the goalpost, asking for even more in the second installment of the payment and a higher sell-on clause. Talk about moving the finish line after the race has started!

The shocking update was revealed by Nigerian sports journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, popularly known as Buchi Laba, who is known to be close to Osimhen. Taking to his X account (formerly Twitter), he wrote:

“Yes 100% confirmed: Napoli rejects Galatasaray’s 4th offer for Victor Osimhen.
In the 4th offer, Galatasaray agreed to all terms/conditions requested by the Italians.
But now they want more in second installment payments and sell-on clause. Rejected by Galatasaray.
Osimhen has made it clear to Napoli: he wants Galatasaray.”

So far, the Turkish club has bent over backwards to meet Napoli’s expectations. But even after matching the deal structure, Napoli has added more demands, frustrating the entire negotiation process.

Now, Galatasaray is holding internal discussions about whether to make a fifth offer or walk away from the deal completely.

So What’s the Real Issue?

It’s not just about money anymore. Fans and analysts are starting to wonder:

  • Is Napoli intentionally blocking Osimhen’s exit?

  • Are they using him to push up their club value?

  • Or is this just bad business negotiation?

Osimhen, for his part, has already expressed his desire to join Galatasaray. But the transfer may collapse if both clubs can’t find a final agreement.

Eyes of Lagos Take:

This whole thing is beginning to look more like a drama series than a football transfer.

If Galatasaray walks away, Osimhen may find himself stuck at a club he no longer wants to play for — not because he’s not good enough, but because the price tag keeps inflating like Lagos rent.

One thing is clear: Osimhen wants the move. The question now is whether Napoli is ready to respect his wishes or keep playing hardball.
