Thai Student Assaults Teacher Over Losing 2 Marks on Math Test

A shocking incident at a private school in Uthai Thani, Thailand, has gone viral after CCTV footage captured a 17-year-old student violently attacking his female math teacher for deducting two marks from his mid-term exam.

According to reports, the student had scored 18 out of 20 and approached the teacher to ask why he did not receive a perfect score. The teacher explained that while his answers were correct, he had failed to show the required working steps, which resulted in the deduction. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

She advised him to verify the grading with other teachers, which he did. However, after returning, the student demanded that his score be increased. When the teacher refused, he became agitated, kicked a desk, and briefly left the classroom.

Moments later, he returned to demand an apology. When the teacher declined, the situation escalated into a brutal assault in front of more than 20 classmates. CCTV footage shows the boy repeatedly slapping, punching, and kicking the teacher.

The attack left her with a bruised eye, swelling on her head, and inflamed ribs. She has since received medical treatment and filed a police report.

The school suspended the student, and he has reportedly requested to withdraw entirely.
