Tragedy Strikes as Seyi Vibez Concert Fans Die in Fatal Road Accident After Reckless Racing
A night of music and excitement turned into tragedy after fans of Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez were involved in a fatal road accident while leaving his concert at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
According to eyewitness reports shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), several cars engaged in a high-speed race shortly after the concert ended, resulting in a devastating crash that claimed multiple lives.
A user, @alli_ya7, who posted videos from the scene, revealed that about four vehicles were involved in the collision. Expressing her grief, she wrote:
“The people that died coming back from Seyi Vibez concert last night, omg. Why did they race???? Why??? They left the show and started racing on the express, trying to overtake other cars.”
In a follow-up post, she added:
“Why race on the highway 😭 To think I saw one of the guys last week, now he’s gone. May their souls rest in peace. SPEED KILLS.”
